The Arco celluloid is simply magnificent and has a strong individual character. No pen is visually similar to any other in the arrangement and the nuances of the thin celluloid layers of which the stem and cap are composed. The filling system is plunger.
The Paragon, introduced with this name by Omas in 1984 as the flagship of the "Arte Italiana" line, was the direct heir of the Extra of the Thirties and Forties, via the Gentlemen/Gentleman models of the Sixties through the Eighties of the last century.
In 1991, Omas released its Classic Celluloid Collection in four colors (including the Bronze Arco), to which other three celluloid were added later. Production of the Celluloid Collection pens (that, beside the Paragon, the Dama and the Princess) was officially dismissed in 2000.
As you can see in photos, and as most of us, collectors or retailers, can remember, the original Omas Paragon from 1991 was marked with its year of production and with “Omas extra” on its body. So what you are buying is a real 1991 pen made in Omas establishment.
The pen for sale is the same one in photos, it’s mint, no scrathes, no signs of usage, with the original leather box and papers. It's complete with all its original outfit!
